At Mangen Research Associates we are always looking for ways to increase the value and accessibility of research
for our clients. With both The Attitude Inventory Index and CVI Profit Manager, we observed shortcomings with
prevailing systems and set out to correct those shortcomings.
For instance, we became concerned about the use of demographic data as the sole source of market profiling. We
have found that attitudes often play a significant role in determining the probability of purchase and these
attitudes are not reflected in demographic data. As a result we created the
Attitude Inventory Index in order
to achieve a more accurate picture of the potential buyers or users of a given service. Because of the success
we have had with measuring attitude, the general process
of The Attitude Inventory Index is used in virtually
all of our research.
CVI Profit Manager, an MCIF for bank's to measure
profitability grew out of the observation that most MCIFs on
the market today used industry averages and produced results that didn't match with the bank's general ledger,
they couldn't provide names and were difficult to use and understand. We set to develop a better system.

Profit Manager uses activity - based cost accounting and is accurate to the penny, flexible to meet the needs
of your bank, easy to use and conveys information in an easy to understand graphic format. Did we say
flexible? CVI Profit Manager can also be used to augment the bank's current MCIF system.
