Customer Focused Product Design

Several different research models are used when implementing a customer-focused product design process.  We can help you with each of the stages. The typical stages of a customer-focused design process may include:

  • Voice of the Customer sessions where some mechanisms are used to identify the pain points that customers have when doing business with our clients.
  • Kano research to assess the value of different features in isolation
  • Trade-off research to identify the value of features when bundled into a product.

Not every project will require every stage, although our experience indicates that companies that use all three stages dramatically increase the odds of developing products that resonate with their customers.
